About MRSA
MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus)는 페니실린이나 세팔로스포린 등 거의 모든 항생제에 강한 내성을 지닌 악성 세균으로 메티실린 내성 황색포도상구균이라고 합니다. 병원 감염의 주범으로서 항생제를 많이 사용하는 대형 종합병원 등에서 발견되는데, 공기 중이나 의사, 간호사의 신체 부위, 메스, 병원 담요, 튜브 등 의료기구에 붙어 3시간 가량 사는 등 생존능력과 번식력이 강하며, 호흡기 계통과 수술 환자의 환부에 침투해 고열과 오한, 혈압 저하 등의 증상을 일으킵니다.

MRSA is Staphylococcus aureus that are resistant to methicillin with greater resistance to almost all kinds of antibiotics such as penicillin, cephalosporin and etc. As as a principal source (the biggest causes) of hospitals infection, MRSA can be found in most large type of general hospitals. As MRSA lives in the air, doctors' and nurses' body parts, and various medical devices such as scalpels, patients’ blankets, tubes and etc. for more than about three hours, it has a strong viability and a high propagation rate with causing a fever, chills and dropping blood pressure by getting into the respiratory system and the affected areas of surgery patients.

(Nano-Particle treated Surfaces)

통상적인 플라스틱 첨가제는 약 1㎛사이의 공간을 갖습니다. 이러한 공간에 서로 다른 크기 약 10nm와 50nm의 나노스케일로 입자가 구성되어 있습니다.
Conventional additives have spaces in between of approximately 1㎛. These spaces can be filled with nano-scaled particles between 10 and 50 nm with different characteristics and without influencing other material properties.

The surface of TroBloc® features a very low surface tension (< 18 mN/m), comparable to PTFE. This ensures that the contact area for particles and fluids is reduced to an exceptional degree. In addition, TroBloc® is superhydrophobic fluid runs off immediately, taking adherent substances and particles with it, due to the specially designed surface. Dirt does not adhere and the surface can be cleaned very easily.‌
